You’re exhausted (but happy!) and have a thousand questions you desperately want to be answered\, and you want to focus on YOUR database. From initial planning to data modeling to layout design to well…anything\, this day is about YOUR needs. To prepare for this class\, practice saying ‘Hey\, look what I did!’ \nPre-Requisite: FileMaker Advanced: Develop! (3-day) or similar.  Students who have attended a 3-day advanced class can get the most out of the whole “My Day” experience. All students start this session with the same core understandings\, same terms and core skills and we can build immediately on what everyone just learned. Our objective is not to be a cheap tech support day\, but instead we will be working to… \n\nHelp you plan out your system: Data model\, Layout List\, Layout Theme\nTake a whack at some of the more complex elements of your solution\nHelp you lay out your next steps and answer “where do I start” and “where do I go next?”\nGather information to estimate the time required to complete your work\nDocument the benefits of your proposed app so you can justify the time and costs to management\nClarify decisions you need to make on hosting\nPlan an overall strategy for your project from start to finish\nDiscuss which tasks you can do yourself and which ones you may want to hire out\nTalk about whether mentoring is an option that would work well for you\n\nOf course\, we won’t be able to get this ALL done\, but by the time you leave\, you will have something in-hand to continue working on when you return to your workplace! \nPlease read before registering \n(1) We Will Call!\nOne of the best ways we can maximize your training experience is to get to know you better before the class! If there is anything we can do to customize the class for your specific needs and interests we’ll do our best. We’ve also found that an initial phone call is the best way to respond to any questions you may have. Expect to hear from your trainer within 1-2 business days. \n(2) Guarantee\nSurefoot unequivocally guarantees that the course you attend will be of great benefit to you in growing your skills as a developer and user. If you are not delighted with any course offered by Surefoot we will fully refund your registration fee. No questions! No fine print! \n(3) Invoicing and Credit Card Processing\nSurefoot will invoice you separately via email prior to the class. Surefoot prefers to receive payment via check instead of credit cards that impose an additional 3.5% charge. If you prefer to use a credit card\, Surefoot will add a 3.5% processing fee to your total invoice. \n(4) Do Overs!\nWe know that learning new technologies can be overwhelming when it comes all at once. If you wish\, you may retake any of our courses for only $99 per day. Please note that retakes are on a space-available basis. \n(5) Yum!\nSurefoot will provide snacks and beverages for mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks. If there are food allergies we should be aware of please be sure to let us know ahead of time. And though it’s not required\, we (the class) usually lunch together at our choice of 9 eateries within walking distance. You are welcome\, of course\, to manage your own lunch plans. \n(6) Student Cancellations\nIf a student must cancel\, please contact Surefoot at least 7 days before the class begins. Please note that other students may be travelling long distance for the class and have already paid for flights\, etc. Late cancellations can have a significant impact on other students if a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. \n(7) Surefoot Class Cancellations\nEspecially for the multi-day classes\, we require a minimum of 3 students to host a class. Surefoot reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If your class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment\, we will notify you as soon as possible\, but at least 7 days before the class start date. You may then transfer your registration to another scheduled class\, or receive a full refund of the course fees. \n
